The Raghavan Master Award, instituted by the K Raghavan Master Foundation, has been awarded to music director M Jayachandran. He was selected for the award in recognition of his overall contributions to the field of music. The award includes ₹50,000 in cash, a certificate of merit, and a sculpture. President V T Murali, Vice President Dr. A S Prashanth Krishnan, Balakrishnan Koyyal, and Velayudhan Idacheryan and others participated in the press conference.
